Designated Survivor and Other Alt Earth Movie TV streaming

Tom and Greg discuss some of the most intriguing things (in their minds) of the ways Life imitates Art 

 The alternate earth Designated Survivor is a show where the president incites an attack on congress which results in Congress being destroyed along with the president and that, as new president  Keifer Sutherland is forced to deal with the maniacal followers of the dead president, who it turns out is alive and living in Zambia, where he controls a shadow government… 
     Along with some other musings on Star Wars (why a lack of stand up comics in the Star Wars Universe) along with more Trek talk. 
       We also get into the Streaming world Remarking on the mashup of all the trends in streaming movies and tv series — a couple is making a documentary about the latest serial murder (for Netflix) when a teenager shows up who claims to be a hitherto unknown son who is writing a screenplay (for Amazon Prime) about a house is haunted by the ghost of a detective who is seeking to atone for the accidental death of his son that he feels responsible for.  And in the end we discover that the couple are ghosts and that the son who popped up unexpectedly is actually the son of the mother and it’s a limited series on Apple TV.
